But the words caught in my throat
like birds in a cage
I couldnt even think straight
but I prayed you couldnt hear my tears fall
as the silence raged on
My heart was begging you
please just hold me
if only just for alittle while
I wanted to look at you
but my eyes kept they're distant gaze upon the floor
I couldnt watch you leave
My soul was feeling lost
I could hear it screaming loud
so hollow so alone..
